"These wall sculptures are meditations on specific places and events from my life. Some evoke memories from childhood while others date from the recent past. All are markers not only of place but of quietly significant moments I return to regularly."

Retiring dentistry in 1987, Taylor went on to receive his Masters of Painting and Drawing from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Richard Taylor is a nationally represented and collected artist.
